¶ How do comments and related notifications work in the «Offline» tab?
In the «Online» section → «Offline» tab, MyTaxiCRM provides tools for managing absent drivers – registering reasons and setting reminders for scheduled work. This helps fleet managers keep discipline under control and respond quickly to changes.
¶ How do I mark drivers who did not come to work?
«Offline» tab of displays a list of drivers who are scheduled to work (i.e., the fleet owner or manager expects them to work) but for some reason are not working at the time of viewing.
- An icon [💬] for adding a comment is available next to each driver
- The manager may:
- contact the driver to clarify the situation;
- find out the reason for the absence;
- add a text comment explaining the outcome of the call.
After saving the comment:
- Displays as the number of communication attempts;
- Contains the reason for the absence;
- Available in the list opposite the driver's name.
¶ Driver's inactivity notification system
The comments functionality is enhanced by a reminder mechanism that helps track the promised time of the driver's appearance for a duty shift.
Example: fleet manager tries to contact a driver who was supposed to perform trips on schedule, but his phone is not answering. Then he receives a text message in which the driver assures him that he will return to work in a few minutes. In the comment section, manager can:
- choose a reason from the available drop-down menu;
- select the time when the system will start tracking changes in activity;
- add explanatory text to the comment.
¶ Visual system warning
After saving: a new entry appears in the table with a comment, the reason, and the promised deadline time.
After refreshing the page: if the driver has not resumed work (i.e., has remained in the «Offline» tab instead of moving to the «Online» tab of the «Online» section of the system), his account will get a yellow background in the grid. This is how MyTaxiCRM signals to the fleet manager that the agreed terms have not been followed and the process should be monitored again.
The system stores the history of comments for each driver's account and allows you to re-set reminders. That is, you can both set a new time for the next contact (postpone) and have the history of interaction at hand (a kind of history of the driver's integrity).
⚠️ The main feature is that the MyTaxiCRM system constantly monitors and evaluates the current state of things in real time and compares it with the planned ones. Such notifications are possible because in the «Online» section, drivers automatically move between tabs («Online» ⇄ «Offline») in accordance with information about their current activity as opposed to the planned one.
